We do not have a designed parking lot. However, there is ample metered parking in the area as well as Old Port Square Parking Garage directly across from the restaurant on Fore Street.

We are open everyday at 11am. Lunch is served Tuesday-Friday and Brunch is Saturday-Monday. We stop seating guest on both floors at 2pm everyday. We open back up at 5pm for dinner. Sunday-Thursday we stop seating guest at 9:30 and 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

This is the one and only Central Provisions. However, we do have two other sister restaurants available to visit (with a whole different vibe). FinestKind in Saco and TIPO in the Back Cove neighborhood of Portland.

Yes! Although reservations are highly recommended, especially during the summer. If you do not see any reservations available, our downstairs bar is first come, first served.

Yes, our dining room is ADA accessible! Please include any special accommodations needed in your reservation.
Reservations

The best way to make a reservation is through Resy. Or, you can call the restaurant at (207)-805-1085 or email us at info@central-provisions.com. A credit card is required to make a reservation, so please have one at hand if you prefer to make a reservation over the phone.
Reservations become available at noon 14 days out from your desired date of reservation. Large party reservations (6+) and events typically must be made up to two months in advance.

A cancellation fee of $25.00 + tax per person will be charged if you cancel within 2 hours of your reservation time.

Groups of 3 or less will be seated at the Chef’s Counter. Tables are reserved for larger parties. If you are a larger party and would like to be seated at the Chef’s Counter, give us a call and we will try our best to accommodate your request. If you are a group of 3 or less and are unable to sit at the counter, please call the restaurant to make your reservation so that we may try to accommodate your request. A credit card is required to make a reservation, so please have one at hand if you prefer to make a reservation over the phone.

Children are very much welcomed in our restaurant. We do ask that when making a reservation that you please include every guest in your party, regardless of age.
We do not have a kids menu but we can make a kids burger with fries at lunch, or a grilled cheese with fries at dinner.

Unfortunately we cannot allow dogs/pets into our restaurant. We do not have a patio either.

No, we do not. Our sister restaurant, Tipo, in back cove has a lovely patio. You can check them out here!

Yes! We have a separate allergy menu that corresponds to specific allergies with each dish. This menu is available when dining with us. If you have a specific allergy or you have a question about any allergies before joining, please reach out to info@central-provisions.com or call (207)-805-1085.

Yes! When filling out a contract for a tasting menu there will be space to note any allergies and aversions. There is also space to make note of how adventurous of a group you are. If there is a member of your party with a gluten allergy, for example, we could make a gluten free tasting menu, or we could offer a substitute for that member during a course with gluten. Depending on our seasonal menu at the time, we could do the same substitutions for vegetarians in a party. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate 8 vegan courses.

Yes! We have many N/A options! Mocktails, N/A beers and soft drinks are available from the bar.

We do not allow, nor does our liquor license, guests to bring in their own bottles of wine. However, we have a long list of wines from all over the world listed on this menu page.

We do not offer delivery. Certain items are available for takeout. We take orders over the phone or in person. Please note that we do not offer plastic silverware.

Yes! Physical gift cards can be purchased at the restaurant. Online gift cards can be purchased from our website.
